(Gurgaon, India, Places, Work)
Yesterday for first time, I felt the meaning of this phrase -
Dry Smile
with
Silent Screams
I saw people going out from work not to turn back

(2007, 2008, B.Tech., Bollywood, Colleagues, College, Cricket, Dear Diary, English Music, Food, General, Gurgaon, Hindi, Hindi Music, Hollywood, India, Just like that!, Languages, Mates, Movies, Music, Nitesh Gautam, Occasions, Party, Personal, Places, Politics, Programming/Coding, Shopping, Sports, Tech, Travel, USA, Work)
I am trying to continue the trend started by me when 2006 was ending. To summarize the things in the way that you can recall them later, more easily than ever.
Here is the first series of that kind (you can also find same list for last year) -
- What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
- Continued my job for 2 years (of course that is an achievement when it is for first in 3 years of career)
- Completed NetAmp application - an app to play music over network
- Found my love
- Traveled abroad / US (Writing from there only)
- Visited Disneyland and Universal Studios
- Watched lot and lot of movies (I still can’t believe that I managed to watch 50 movies in 2 months!)
- Visited Historical Monuments in Capital nearby
- Met with old time mate (Happy)
- Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Oh yes I kept it. I don’t have habit of leaving impossible things like that. If it couldn’t be done in 2006, it was kept in 2007. Hey Krishna, are you listening? Of course, making another one for year 2008 and this time, again it is next to impossible for a person like me!
- Did anyone close to you give birth?
Luckily NO.
- Did anyone close to you die?
No.
- What countries did you visit?
US
- What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Remembrance (I think it isn’t about resolution)
- What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory?
27/07/2007, 04/12/2007 and 13/12/2007 (all sum up to mah lucky number as I have realized just now)
- What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Discovered Love
- What was your biggest failure?
Umm…None.
- Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes. Cough and Cold for quite long time during Cricket World Cup
- What was the best thing you bought?
I never buy things rather I present them to myself - 2 GFs / Laptops (dv9502 and dv6500t CTO NB) and 2 External HDDs (160 GB LACIE and 1 TB Western Digital)
- Whose behavior merited celebration?
- Jo
- Ritu
- Puneet’s laughs
- Pankaj’s company during celebrations
- Nitesh Gupta for wonderful rides
- My Brother
- Archana for wonderful compliment
- Happy
- Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Three of mah colleagues
- Where did most of your money go?
- Laptops
- External HDDs
- Clothes
- Movies
- Coffee
- Food
- Discotheques
- Shelter
- What did you get really, really, really excited about?
- Love

Oh, I didn’t realized that I have completed two big years at CashEdge on Wednesday (January 16, 2008). It appears really a big achievement to me when I look back to the golden time spent here while befriending many good people and learning so many things.
By now, I have been into two different Tech domains and learnt 3 different technologies while retaining same functional domain. If I was kinda expert (although I don’t exactly mean that) in one, I got to learn two completely new leading industry platforms which has been really wonderful experience especially when I am a big lover of Change than mere Designations!
When I am calling a learning curve, I literally mean that its been a curve outta here. An adventurous and exciting curve! Loving my organization…
Also completed my two years at Gurgaon on January 15, 2008 (Although I am not there physically but still I am paying the rent
). Same day, my bike turned 2 years too. These two years never appeared to be that long while being in company of Chunky, Anuj and Puneet as my room-mates.
Its been really wonderful time spent in these 2 years and as I wished last year, I am looking forward toward longer relationships.

(Bollywood, Gurgaon, Hindi Music, Movies, Music, Personal, Places)
I like to listen this song without linking it to any particular span in my life. There are other two special things about this song.
One, it has the title which another fellow blogger writes his blog referring to
. Isn’t that nice coincident. In his blog, PSV talks to an identity named by him as Mausam and muses about happenings of his life with it. I had come across his wonderful blog long back but now it has been marked as private by him. He was nice enough to drop by my Guest Book and say nice words
Secondly, without any specific reason, I like singing this song while getting wet in rain and it is rainy season these days here. So that is pretty obvious for me to like it more than any other song nowadays.
Here are the lyrics of this song -
Zindagi ne zindagi bhar gham diye
Jitne bhi Mausam diye Sab nam diye
Jab tadapta hai kabhi apna koi
Khoon ke aasoon rula de bebasi
Jee ke phir karna kya mujhko aisi zindagi
Jisne zakhmon ko nahi marham diye
Zindagi ne zindagi bhar gham diye
Jitne bhi Mausam diye Sab nam diye
Apne bhi pesh aaye hamse ajnabee
Waqt ki saajish koi samjha nahi
Be iraada kuch khata yeh, hamse ho gayi
Raah mein patthar meri hardam diye
Zindagi ne zindagi bhar gham diye
Jitne bhi Mausam diye Sab nam diye
Ek mukammal kashm-a-kash hai zindagi
Usne hamse ki kabhi na dosti
Jab mili mujhko aasuon ke woh tohfe de gayi
Has sake hum aise mauke kam diye
Zindagi ne zindagi bhar gham diye
Jitne bhi Mausam diye Sab nam diye
Zindagi ne zindagi bhar gham diye
It never looks like it has been more than 6 months since I have been listening to this song
.
Other songs which I am liking these days are Bhool Bhulaiya (Bhool Bhulaiya), Saawariya (Saawariya) and Ajab Si (Om Shanti Om). Particularly I appreciate the way Saawariya (Saawariya) has been sung by Shail Hada which makes me recall Yoodle era of Kishore Kumar.
Watched Dhamaal yesterday and it is just fantastic Hindi movie if you like comedy. I have never believed in Times Of India ratings which once again disappointed me as it had given just 1.5 starts to this movie. It deserves at least 3/5 or 7/10 according to me.
