Watched these two movies (both Hindi) on weekend -

Apne – Full of mix of emotions and fight which leaves no space for love and bonding. Boxing is too much in movie. The concept behind movie is pure and that why, it made its mark. It was good to see all three Deaols (Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol) together for first time. Would like to see more of them.

Rating - 6/10

Bawarchi – A classic of Rajesh Khanna produced by Hrishikesh Mukherjee in 1972 and watched completely by me in 2007. I have always been in love with movies of Rajesh Khanna and he is the only actor I like a bit. May be because he is the only actor who plays his roles quite lively. Movie is quite good and unique, making you learn and understand lot of things. Also it was good to see most of the classic actors of that time at one place (another speciality of Rajesh Khana’s movies) – Jaya Bhaduri, A.K. Hangal, Harendra Nath, Durga Khote, Asrani, Paintal, Usha Kiran. And in the background, it was soft voice of Amitabh Bachchan narrating the story. I loved this movie. The only things which I think could had been improved, are the music and Rajesh Khanna’s role which could had been sharpen/finished a bit more happily.

It’s so simple to be happy, but so difficult to be simple.
